Requirements for Oral presentation
Please mind, during the conference will be synchronous translation. Thus, please following the next requirements:
- The presentation may not exceed 15 minutes.
- Please make small pause between sentences during presentation.
- Power Point Presentation should consist of 15 or 20 slides.
Requirements for Poster Presentations
- Size recommended – maximum A0, portrait orientation (118.9 cm tall x 84.1cm wide)
- The title should be indicated at the top with letters 72 point. Under the title the full author(s) name(s) and name of organization should be given.
- Poster text should be with letters 24-point size.
- Presentation should consider the viewer's needs. Posters should be easy to read from a distance.
Stickers for attaching posters will be provided by Organizing Committee.
The following plenary and poster sessions
are planned:
- Satellite system operators: optical scanner (panchromatic, multispectral and hyperspectral) and radar data, including these of high resolution. Near -real time access to current data and access to the archived data.
- Images of the Earth from space for large industrial enterprises in the oil and gas, forestry, metallurgical and agricultural sectors.
- Satellite images for decision-making in region-specific territorial management.
- International initiatives and projects whose efficiency is determined by the availability of the contemporary satellite data and facilities for data processing.
- Role of remotely sensed data for efficient operation of the environmental and natural resource departments and agencies and of the Ministry for emergency situations.
- Applied problems of using remotely sensed data. On-line monitoring of the natural and man-induced processes in hydrology and oceanography.
Section is organized jointly with the Institute of Oceanography of the Russian Weather Service (Rosgidromet).
- Technologies and software for data processing, including 3-D modelling, thematic interpretation of remotely sensed data, radar data processing techniques, practical applications of SAR interferometry.
The above list of topics for each session is preliminary and will be amended in accordance with the submitted presentation titles.
