Russian Cosmonautics Federation to support 3rd International Conference "Earth From Space - The Most Effective Solutions"

Russian Cosmonautics Federation ((RCF) - one of the oldest all-Russian public organizations of cosmonautics - will be the partner of the 3rd International Conference "Earth From Space - The Most Effective Solutions" to take place in the Moscow region "Vatutinki" recreation center of the Presidential Administration on December 4-6, 2007. The organizers of the conference are RDC ScanEx and NGO Transparent World.

In addition to the demonstration of innovations in the field of Earth remotes sensing the conference will present the examples of practical implementation of satellite-based monitoring in different economic areas as the basis of cost-efficient operating systems.

RCF was established in 1978. Currently the organization has the central administration board (in Moscow) and 265 regional and local agencies of cosmonautics with the total of around 300 thousand members, working in 55 Russian regions. RCF's activity covers the enterprises and organizations of rocket-and- space industry, military units, universities, planetariums, organizations of veterans, voluntary public cosmonautic associations.

Support to the International Conference "Earth From Space - The Most Effective Solutions" from RCF will promote further development of scientific, technical and intellectual potentials of the Russian cosmonautics, introduction of domestic space high technology into other industries of national economy and will stimulate the development of space education of all levels and types.
