Radiometer is a radiometer which is set on Terra Satellite
(EOS AM-1) was launched in December, 1999. It was the first
satellite or the Earth Observing System program. It was provided
by NASA in Earth Science Enterprise frames.
ASTER radiometer was developed by NASA and specialists of
Japan Trade and Industry Ministry. Radiometer consists of
three separate telescope systems. It allows to make Earth
survey in 14 spectral bands: from visible to near and short-wave
infrared bands with 15-90m spatial resolution. It is planned
to receive high-quality stereoscope Earth images with ASTER.
